Current article 6 series - Mountaintop messages

Article 6 is currently undertaking studies of the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7.   We’re approaching this with two resources - John Stott’s Sermon on the Mount from the Life Guide Bible Studies series, and the DVD Resilient narrated by Sheridan Voysey.  You can preview Resilient here.   This is a challenging 12 week series, exploring the core of Jesus’ teaching.  As John Stott put it: ‘The Sermon on the Mount is probably the best-known part of the teaching of Jesus, though arguably it is the least understood, and certainly it is the least obeyed.’   Just bring your Bible; the Life Guide book will be provided.

Previous Article 6 studies include Luke-Acts, Romans, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, James, 1 Peter and Revelation, a study of Alice Mann’s In Between Church and the DVD series of Diarmaid MacCulloch's A History of Christianity and Tom Wright’s Surprised by Hope.
