Community Hall Hire

The community hall is available for hire.

The hall is especially designed as a community facility, and is available to community groups at inexpensive rates.  It has a kitchen for the use of hirers, toilets and a waiting room.  As we don't have a license to serve alcohol, it generally isn't possible to hire the community hall for parties and wedding receptions - although the church may be available for the wedding itself! 

The community hall isn't available for hire at times that the church itself needs it.  This generally means there is no hiring on a Sunday.  It's best to contact us to see at what other times the church uses the hall. 

hiring the grounds

The church grounds (to the east of the community hall) come to around 3,000 square metres.  The grounds are also available for hire, and are suitable for fitness groups and exercise classes.  


Hirers of the community hall and grounds should arrange their own indemnity insurance.


The community hall or grounds can be hired at $11.00 per hour (GST not included).

Stage 2 of the St Anne's Church development is an upgrade of the community hall - including a large extension to the kitchen, an increase in the number of toilets and the installation of showers.  An outside stage will be attached to the rear of the hall, overlooking the market grounds.
