can I take holy communion?

Family worship at St Anne’s Church includes Holy Communion – a sharing together of bread and wine in which we are invited to be part of God’s life in Christ.  We have an open table for Communion so all Christians can join in.  You are welcome to share in the bread and wine if you are a baptised Christian (and whether you were baptised as an infant or adult) and normally take Communion in your own church - if your conscience allows you to celebrate Communion with us.

what if I don't wish to take holy communion?

If you prefer not to take the bread and wine, you should feel comfortable remaining in your seat at Communion.  Or, you can join the queue for Communion and ask for a blessing.  Holding your hands behind your back will tell the priest that you wish to receive a blessing.
